Leon Kennedy is the main protagonist of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. He first appeared as a playable character in Resident Evil 4 and has made playable in other Resident Evil titles. Including the main series and various spin-offs.
Leon is a resident of Raccoon City who was a police officer for its local S.T.A.R.S unit at the time of the T-virus outbreak in 1998. When Leon has accused of murdering a man, his captain placed him under house arrest in his apartment. He later meets and partners with Claire Redfield during the incident, and is instrumental in defeating both Los Illuminados cult leader Osmund Saddler and bioweapon Lord Saddler after his brother, Alfred, released a special strain of the Las Plagas parasite into Raccoon City.
