This genre of movies is very popular these days and rightly so. It helps demonstrate what our world will be like and how things will shape once the zombie apocalypse hits the earth. Even though most zombie apocalyptic movies are scary, there are only a few that can use the genre and make a fun-loving movie about it. That is what the Army of Thieves did when it added in a twist of hysterical comedy combined with scenes of crime and action everywhere. It has captivated even the hardcore zombie genre fans with its thrilling and gripping storyline. The plot takes place before the first film, "Army of the Dead."

The film features a very secret heist that is planned by an unknown mysterious woman. The heist is planned during the zombie outbreak when it is in its early stages. The woman wants to break open three legendary safes around Europe that won't be cracked no matter who tries to open them. To get the job done, she hires a German safecracker named Ludwig Dieter, who happens to work as a teller at a bank. She wants him to assist and lead a group of upcoming and inexperienced thieves.

The film is brilliantly written by Zack Snyder, and the Army of Thieves director is Matthias Schweighöfer. The Army of Thieves initial release was a blooming success that took place on a streaming platform on October 29, 2021.
